Raises hand. I'm on labetelol though. I tried Atenolol with my last pregnancy and it gave me headaches so they switched me. The only thing I've noticed, is at times, my bp gets too low and I get lightheaded. Usually I just sit down and it goes away. I started out just taking it at night so I didn't notice anything but I'm taking it 3 times a day now. Fun stuff

I'm taking mine twice a day...It says that it will make you cold and i'm a cold person any way...did it make you cold? I just took my 2nd one, so i'm not sure if it's too soon, but i've been freezing all day, not sure if it's because i'm really cold, or from the meds.
I take Metoprolol, although not specifically for high blood pressure. I take it to decrease my heart rate and combat my bad headaches that started after my brain surgery. Side effects are not too bad for me on a low dose of 25mg/day. My skin is always cold to the touch. I get lightheaded when I stand up. Drinking alcohol increases these side effects for me. I also get short of breath at times, which I think might be related to the med.
I'm on methyldopa/aldomet every 6 hours now and labetalol 150 mgs once a day (300 cut in half). Only side effects for me is dry mouth when I'm sleeping, drowsiness, sometimes out of breath. My baby is doing great so far, very active and I'm 24 weeks now.
