I'm going to try to start posting articles I find about high-risk pregnancy--if you find one you'd like to share, please post it!

I need to show this article to one of the OBs in my group. When I told him that I wanted as "normal" a pregnancy as I could he responded with "There is no such thing as a normal pregnancy and delivery any more. " Jerk.

I really liked that article! Thanks for sharing!

Seriously, what a jerk! I am glad that all the docs I've met at the peri practice so far (there are 13 of them, I've met 3 plus an NP) have been all about making this as normal a pregnancy as possible for us. If any of them tried to treat me like I was fragile or something, I'd probably start freaking out--I stay calm when I feel like what I'm experiencing is typical or normal, and I start to worry when there's something unusual going on.
