With both of my kids I started bleeding at 9weeks but held the pregnancy with my first I was fine til I was 28 weeks then out of the blue started having contractions they stoped them but then he was born at 32 weeks but we don't know why. They with my daughter I started having contractions at 4 months and was put on bed rest along with a fetal monitor at home and a weekly shot of progetorne from a nurse that came to my house so I wouldn't get out of bed to go 2 blocks to my dr office. I held her until week 38 but we don't know why the contractions started in the first place. This time I wasn't suppose to get pg to begin with and here I am in week 8 and I'm wondering what comes next?

Welcome! I don't have personal experience with pre-term contractions--my son was born at 27 weeks because my water suddenly broke--but I think it's a good sign that despite the problems last time, you were able to make it to 38 weeks. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that things go more smoothly this time!

Welcome and congrats on your pregnancy! Like Beth I don't have any experience with preterm contracting. I would talk to my OB and see what the plan of action is. Did you see a perinatologist last time? If not, that might be a good idea. Best of luck!
