Saw the doctor today after having him in delivery at my last appointment and not getting to see him. He said that as much as he would love to be able to take me off Progesterone my body still needs it. I am soooo sick of the number 32 because that is what I see every week on my progesterone test. So another month at least of shots my hips are very nervous. My ultrasound for the Anatomy Scan will be on Monday and the tech even said she would do my shot for me so that I do not have to miss work woohoo!! I love Libby she is the best ultrasound tech ever.
Sounds like a great u/s tech! I'm sorry you have to keep getting the shots--today is supposed to be my last one, but I've been having lots of BH contractions this week so I'm not sure if they'll tell me I need them for another week or two, or just let things go after this. I am pretty sick of them myself!
WooHoo for being almost done with them!!! The nurse that did my Friday shot says that because my numbers stay almost the same every week that it might be my body has decided if the shots are providing it then its not going to. Then yesterday I realized I am afraid to stop the shots and am now hoping he keeps me on them until at least 26 weeks unless my body naturally spikes. I mean really whats another two months of shots three times a week when I have already been getting them for 14 weeks? After 40 shots and 16 blood draws I am pretty used to it. As for Libby the US tech she went through the shots when she was pregnant with her son who is now 19 and she is very supportive of all of us progesteroners.
