That's what I was wondering. When I started having the awful mood swings from the shots, my doc said they can do a cream instead but it hadn't been as thoroughly studied as the shot in terms of effectiveness (it was definitely safe to use, just not clear it worked as well as the shot). But he said it would probably just make me moody all the time instead of three days a week, so I didn't pursue it further. Sounds like this study might be filling the gap in the research?
