I will post a full birth story when we get home, but just wanted to post her birth stats and say that we are doing great! She is 9 lbs. 0.7 out ejs and was born this morning at 11:05. It was only 30 minutes of pushing thanks to a nice long time laboring down and a very good epidural. The only hiccup we had was that there're was some meconium in her water, so we had to have the NICU team assess her t birth, but they quickly cleared her and within a couple minutes she was onmy nest and trying to latch. Since then she has nursed like a champ! We will be bringing her home tomorrow barring any unforeseen complications, but so far she is doing great and I am feeling a lot better than I would have thought having just pushed someone that big out of my hoohah.
So, if I am MIA a bit over the next few days, you know why!
Mom to 4 beautiful kids! 3 on Earth and 1 in heaven. Our little girl, Matilda Hope had Down Syndrome. She was born with TMD, a disease that is like leukemia. She fought that and beat it. Then, she had liver failure. She beat that, too. On October 17, 2014 she had NEC, necrotizing enterocolitis. My baby went to Heaven on October 19, 2014. She lived exactly one month.
