I have been put on bed rest with my last two pregnancies around 20-25 weeks. My first one I went into labor at 33 weeks. I had a LEEP done for cervical dysplasia which is first stages of cancer. The LEEP is laser surgery which causes me to dilate early because of a shortened cervix. I didn't realize what this was called until I just saw a thread on another forum I was reading on and decided to look into it. I asked my doctor to do a cerclage, stitching of the cervix, but she said since I made it to 35 weeks with my last that I won't need it. I'm terrified at the thought of twins with my levels being so high and I know I am going to worry myself to death until my u/s Thursday. I am so worried I will lose my babies if its twins. My levels are so high and I am almost convinced its twins but only from the betas. For those who haven't seen the thread on my betas or forgot they are: 14dpo-508 and 16dpo-1237. I am hoping I ovulated earlier than cd14 and that I am farther along than having twins. Anyone had any experiences with any of this?

Also, are they talking about giving you P17 shots? Or doing a progesterone cream?

I would ask--it's one of those things that might not always help but can't really hurt. Are you seeing a high-risk OB?

With your history, you might talk about whether seeing a high-risk OB is worth it or not...with a high-risk, you tend to have more interventions, which can be both good and bad. I hope you get good news today!
