I just switched from Coumadin to Lovenox yesterday, and this evening I started bleeding(vaginal). I'm only 4 weeks pregnant, and I have a history of low progesterone. I'm thinking it's the progesterone issue, but I read somewhere that Lovenox can make existing bleeding worse. Has anyone had any experience with this?

i haven't used Lovenox yet, but i hope everything is ok! Have you called your doctor yet? I'm hoping they've already tested your progesterone...they can call in a supplement if you're not taking one to help if your prog level is low.

Hi Lara, thanks! I have a history of low progesterone, so when I had my OB appt Monday, I asked for a supplement. I'm seeing a new doctor who doesn't like to supplement with progesterone without bleeding. So I called and the dr was out today--they're going to call me back tomorrow. You know, if they would have just given me the progesterone on Monday, I don't think this would have happened. Oh well.
