I read this article after you posted, and today my doc recommended a pessary for me since my cervix measures 1.5cm at 22w4d. He was shocked that I had even heard of one

The insertion of the pessary wasn't pleasant, but it was quick and now I don't feel anything at all. I'll update this thread later and let you all know how it goes!

I have had my pessary for a week now, and in that time my cervical length almost doubled I never even think about the pessary or feel it, and apparently it is doing a great job of taking some of the stress off of my cervix! I'm kind of a guinea pig for my doctor with the pessary, and he is thrilled with the results. I am too

I have made it to 26w5d! My cervical length was only .75cm yesterday, but the fact that I'm still pregnant is pretty impressive. My doc is hoping I can hold out another week or two.
