Well, I went Monday to have the cerclage placed. It all went smoothly and the spotting and cramping went away completely yesterday evening. Now, I just have to take things one day at a time. I go in on May 29th for my post op & June 7th for my first cervix lenghth check - I am hoping they will also be able to tell me the gender that day. I hope you all are doing wonderfully

I'm glad it went well. I hope the cerclage helps you make it as long as possible and everything else goes well.

Tanya
I'm glad everything went fine.
I had my cerclage last Monday (june 4th). The surgery went well and the recovery is fine. It was complicated though, the doctor said my cervix was very soft and short. I think she saved my pregnancy for now.
Now I have to bed rest for a while and I'll start progesterone shot tomorrow, once a week.
i feel fine and i'm positive, bed rest is tough but if works it is totally worth it.
