Hello, I am new to this site. I have actually been coming here for a while but have not signed up for the message boards until now.

I am considered high risk this pregnancy (my 2nd) as my first (baby boy) was born still. I found out at my weekly doctors appointment at 37 weeks that his heart had stopped beating. So this time I get doctors appointments every 3 weeks right now (I am 14 weeks) and have been going to the doctors since I was 5 weeks 1 week late from my period. And they are keeping a watchful eye on me. Though my first pregnancy I had no problems at all, everything was perfect. This time they are taking every possible step to make sure nothing will happen. I will also be getting fetal assessments from 28 weeks on until I deliver which I may be induced as early as 36 weeks as long as the baby is fully developed.

Well I am not currently pregnant, but I will be ttc again as soon as I get the green light from the dr. I am high risk for several reasons.
1.) Type 1 diabetic for 16 years
2.) Have had a LEEP several years ago (possible weak cervix)
3.) 3 miscarriages
4.) My baby was stillborn April 15th, 2007. (still waiting for genetic testing results)

So I will be monitored very closely the dr.'s said if I get pregnant again.

Just thought I should get to know you all before I begin my new journey of ttc again.

I lost half my colon to cancer last year and my doctor has never had a patient with my history of surgeries so he is winging it for now. Any advice or experiance with this would be very welcome!

I am high risk because of Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome, an autoimmune/blood clotting disorder that has caused 3 miscarriages. I am on Lovenox and baby aspirin.
