I have anti platelet antibodies and didnt find out till my 7th pregnncy 3rd child. I worry about currently ttc with this even though I have 3 perfect childern. Anybody else have this and can shed some light on it. I went over it with my dr but want some other advice or someone with experience to tell me what they went through and such. Thanks in advance
Were you diagnosed with NAIT (neonatal alloimmune thrombycytopenia)? I have this. Was diagnosed after my daughter was born with 11K platelets. I am weary of getting pregnant again... just because of the treatment required throughout the pregnancy.... there is a wonderful Yahoo support group.. and most of us are on this facebook page. Please come join us!
My youngest was born with normal levels and I was very thankful. They never said if it was NAIT just said before I got pregnant with him that I had anti platelet antibodies. Just wanted to find more info and see what to expect. I did blood tests at least once a month and never had to go to the specialist everthing stayed in a good range thank goodness
