Wondering if any of you ladies have experienced this kinda of freak thing:
I was playing at the park with DS. We were having a good time and I went down a little kiddie slide with him. When I got to the bottom, I didn't feel right, so we headed back to the car. I felt a little gush and thought, "Awesome... I totally just peed myself." I went to the bathroom to check it out and it was blood. A lot of it.
Naturally, I freaked out. I called my midwife who said go home and lie down and see if it stops. If it doesn't, go to the ER. I called my mom and husband who said they'd head on over. By the time I got home, I was gushing. I made it to the bathroom and my mom arrived and helped me to the bed.
At 15 weeks, there's nothing they can do if you're miscarrying, so I just resolved to lie down and bit and wait for my husband to get home from work. When he got here, my mom got me up to take me to the ER. It was everywhere. I went to the nearest hospital, rather than the one I preferred (and used to work at) and they checked me out.
After an agonizing 3 hours, they got the results from the ultrasound. Baby was alive and there wasn't any problem with the placenta. The ER doc couldn't find my cervix because of the amount of bleeding.
I saw my midwife today and she said my cervix is closed and long. She was able to find the baby's heartbeat and he's moving around in there.
What the heck guys? A lot of ladies in my DDC mentioned placenta previa, but neither the ultrasound tech at the hospital or the one at the doctor's office last week said anything about the placenta being abnormal. I had a small SCH with my son that went away on its own and they didn't see one with this baby.
I'm still bleeding and on bed rest now. Anyone have something similar? I'm still really scared I'm gonna miscarry.
