Hi my name is sharilyn, I'm 31 and this is my fourth pregnancy. My first pregnancy, after almost two years of trying, was prefect and normal 40 weeks. We had a very healthy girl :0) she is now a little over 5 1/2. A year and a half later (not preventing and trying) we were so excited to be expecting again! At my 15 week appointment, 4 days after I started feeling movement, the dr could t find a heartbeat. I delivered a little boy. We didn't have tests done b/c the dr said it was a fluke only a 5% chance, it would never happen again. Well 2 years and 1 day later, at my 14+ week appointment my second little boy's heart stopped. This time we did DNA tests and everything came back normal. My dr at the time waited to run some tests on me, but my husband had just returned from deployment and we moved. Just after we moved my dh and I found out about a women who was giving her baby up for adoption, ended up our new baby, a boy! Was born just 3 weeks before my due date... God is so good! Anyways, The dr I went to see about a year ago here at our duty station told me they wouldn't run any tests on me until I'd had 3 losses in a row!? What?! So I was frustrated and my husband and I decided not to go forward with the drs since we had a new baby... Well here we are last week I got a BFP after being 4 days late... I'm sooo excited but so scared and nervous too. I started taking extra folic acid and a baby aspirin (what my first dr said I should do if I got pregnant before tests were done) she had also said to use progesterone but I don't know where to get that...
So anyways very long post! Sorry but thanks for reading if you got this far! Has anyone else had a similar experience? What meds did your dr prescribe?

I'm sorry I don't have any experience with your situation. I will keep your little bean in my prayers so that he/she may have the strength to continue to grow and develop into a little healthy baby for you to hold in your arms in 9 months.

Have you had the pregnancy confirmed at the clinic yet? When you do, ask for a referral to an OB. Let them know your history and go from there.

Good luck!!!

I think that's the best thing you can do. I will be crossing everything for you!

Progesterone will need to be prescribed for you by a doctor. You can do pills, gel suppositories, or intra-muscular injections. I'd ask your PCM about it when you see him/her. Good luck!
