Hi ladies! I am joining you on the high risk board. My name is Patty and even though I just found out yesterday that I am pg, I already know I am high risk. I am 37. I have a shunt in my head because of elevated ICP, I have high blood pressure and cholesterol, asthma.

During my preg with my DD9 I had Pre-E and was put on bed rest at 5 months and hospitalized at 6 months, delivered @ 32 weeks with severe pre-E and a total abruption. I had IUGR and low fluids as well. I also had Gest. Diabetes.

This was not a planned preg, but we are excited anyway. My hubby has banished me to the easy life and has said that he and the kids will do most of the house work and I need to take it easy and not overdo it with my history. I, on the other hand, have not felt as well as I have in the past few weeks in a long time.

By our best calculation, my due date is Sept 8!

Im Beth, im 22 weeks pregnant with number 3. Im high risk due to my various medical problems and my first was a preemie due to unexplained rupture of membraines and with my second i had premature dialation. We have had some complications with this pregnancy but so far things are going great.

Congrats! I am not pregnant, but have had 2 high risk pregnancies, including PTL @ 32 weeks w/ DS born at 35.5 weeks; and PTL @ 25 weeks, IUGR, AMA, and DD2 born at 37 weeks.

I hope you have a healthy and happy, event free 9 months.
