Well I had my 20 week scan and the measurements were all fine, and found out we are having a baby boy! beyond excited, after 2 m/c this is the furthest we have come!

Ive been having bleeding since 13 weeks and was diagnosed with cervical erosion, thats all fine and heartbeat was always okay.

However at my scan they discovered that i have a blood clot behind my placenta (6cmx2cmx5cm)

Now they say i will be induced by 38 weeks if not before, they dont want me carrying to term. and i am having another scan at 28 weeks.

Im just wondering.... is that clot big? like how big is the placenta?! has anyone else had this and come through the other end? i just feel numb and in limbo.....

Hi! Welcome to the board! I don't have a whole lot of experience with what you are going through, but maybe one of the other ladies does. I do know lots of women that have dealt with a bleed located near the placenta, also called a Subchorionic Hematoma, and been fine. You're doctor will keep a close eye on you, I would imagine and that is for the best. Good Luck!
