Hi all, so I am on .80 mls 2x a day of lovenox, I have a placenta previa. So looks like a c-section for me. Anybody in a similar situation or been through it?

I was on Lovenox and had to have a c-scction due to my son being breech. my doctor changed me to heparin the last few weeks since it doesn't last in your system as long as lovenox. My son is now 4 & things are great

I am on lovenox (post partum) for another week. I had a normal delivery but, I imagine that your doctor would follow along with the switching to heparin at 36 weeks or sooner for a previa. Heparin can be reversed and like KrisCann said, it doesn't last as long as Lovenox.
