Hello!
Does anyone here have any suggestions for lovenox and how to make it burn less?

I have tried slowly, and quickly and right angle and slanted... No matter what it burns and hurt for quite a while after...

Also, where do I inject once my belly is too big to pinch fat bc of the baby? I can ask my Dr next visit, it just occured to me that I have no idea...

Hi, I am on my 3rd lovenox pregnancy and I have found that it burns no matter what. I inject 2 times a day and it really sucks! As far as when yor belly gets bigger and the skin is tighter, I would still recommend the stomach, they say thighs are ok, I tried it and they hurt more for me.

Good luck!

It usually burns the most for me in the beginning of the pregnancy. I just had my 3rd baby, all 3 were with lovenox. I dont' know why. maybe I just get used to it. I've also found that the closer I am to my belly button, the less it hurts. I dont' know why for that, either. Some people ice the area before injecting. that might help.

Mom to 4 beautiful kids! 3 on Earth and 1 in heaven. Our little girl, Matilda Hope had Down Syndrome. She was born with TMD, a disease that is like leukemia. She fought that and beat it. Then, she had liver failure. She beat that, too. On October 17, 2014 she had NEC, necrotizing enterocolitis. My baby went to Heaven on October 19, 2014. She lived exactly one month.
