Had another appt today (we found the fetal pole and HB!) and she went over the results of my blood draw and 24 hour urine. My protein was 280 and the cutoff is 300 so she is going to keep an eye on it by doing monthly urine catches but what concerns me is that she said my Uric Acid was sky high.

I did a little research on the internet ~ does anyone has any info on this? From what I gather there is a higher risk of m/c and premature births (scary!)

Can anyone "educate" me?

P.S. B/P was 158/95 so she is going to recheck in a month (b/c I've only been on Labetalol for a week) and may adjust my dosage.

My uric acid levels were high pre-pregnancy but that is because I developed Gout after the birth of my daughter. (My liver was taxes quite a bit near the end of the pregnancy). Mine are just being re-tested now to see how pregnancy is affecting them.
