Hi,
I'm Chelle, I am due October 3rd with our 3rd and final baby.

I am aready considered high risk from the get go, I am 10 month post op from Gastric Bypass surgery, ur supposed to wait 2 yrs to TTC, but DH and I got a suprise!

When I delievered our twins, I ended up with Post Partum Cardiomyopathy, which weakened my heart, I am not fully recovered from it I have a 45% Ejection Fraction.

I had Mild Pre E with severe water weight gain with my twin pregnancy I gained 45 bs of water in 1.5 weeks.

I had preterm labor with bed rest at 18 weeks and 22 weeks and then hospital bed rest at 31 weeks.

I delivered at 33.1 weeks.

I also had gestational diabetes

At my Ultra sound today, they found some blood behind the placenta, they said that should absorb and all is going well right now!

Wow Chelle! Sounds like there is a lot going on in your pregnancies! I'm glad though that so far everything is going well for you and your new baby! I am not high risk at the moment but usually at about 17 weeks I will be treated as high risk as I did for my last baby. Anyway just wanted to say hello and let you know that I will keep you in my thoughts and hope you have a relatively uneventful pregnancy! Good luck!

Well Chikey it looks like we at least have each other out of the Oct 07 club. I had severe Pre-E with my first delivered emergency section at 30 weeks. Then with my son I had Pre-E and delivered at 36 weeks. Lets hope we can go full term without complications. *crosses fingers*

Chelle,

I can't believe that they are putting your HR because of a gastric bypass. I am 6 years post op and it presented no huge problem with my pregnancy. I had my folic acid levels checked priot to TTTC. I had a pretty big problem with anemia, but nothing that couldn't be solved with some iron treatments.

To put your heart at ease, I know a lady that had her baby 39 weeks after her gastric bypass. She doesn't know if she got pregnant before or after her surgery, but her baby came out fine. I think you'll find that your pregnancy will be healthier than previous pregnancies when you were overweight. Good Luck!
