Hey everyone! I'm Morty and I'm 18 and pregnant with my first!
I would have come in here sooner but i didn't realize there was such a board on JM!
I went into PTL at 27 weeks and i was have contractions for 12 hours.. That wore me out!! They managed to stop them but i spent 2 weeks in hospital on bedrest. I'm not 32 weeks preg (33 as my last us states) and im high risk. Im off bed rest, although I have to see the doc once a week.
I'd like to get to know you girls!!

Welcome. Glad to hear you are now off of bedrest and doing better. At 32 weeks now your baby has an awesome shot of being healthy if born now. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and if you ever need to talk I am around!

Welcome to the board, even though its not the greatest place to be.

Glad they were able to stop your PTL and that things are moving along nicely. Keep that little one baking as long as possible.

I started effacing and dilating very early with my children as well! Bedrest and meds for my dd (18 weeks started having issues; 22 weeks on bedrest and meds off and on--only a pill to calm my uterus down). Cerclage at 14 weeks with my son because I had an incompetent cervix and was already 75% effaced and was dilating.

I hope this reassures you some because I went on to deliver them both full-term! Dd at 39 week. Ds at 37.

Do you know your effacement/dilation/and baby's head level? By 31 weeks with dd I was completely effaced and her head was a +1 but I wasn't dilating. I am surprised you are off bedrest. They kept me on it until 38 weeks when I had ptl with Belle.

Glad to meet you! Your almost there, girl! Even if you have the baby at 32 weeks, the chances of a healthy baby are so great. I was born at 33 weeks and I turned out okay....a little strange but alright
