Hi, I am due July 8th. This is my second pregnancy. I developed pre-e with my son at 37 weeks. I am now 32 weeks, will be 33 weeks on sunday. I have been having dull, but definte headaches morning and night for the past 1-2 weeks and now my vision is also blurred. I just went to the eye doctor, so I know it's not- me. It seems this is when it all started with my son. 2 weeks ago I measured small, but had an u/s and it showed that she is growing just fine. I am just worried it's taking the same timeline it did with my son. I started to get headaches and then @34-35 weeks had high blood pressure, and then at 37 weeks protien in my urine.

those who have had it- did you get it also in you're second pregnancy? and how so?

I just know when I go on monday, it won't be made a big deal. because, these symptoms are also 'normal' preg. symptoms. but, I feel I know my own body, better than any doctor.

any help/stories would be great!

thanx

Do you have way of checking your BP??? Sounds to me like you could possibly be getting it again...

my blood pressure has been great- like 109/60! but, it was that way up until 34-35 weeks with my son, so we'll see.

I will keep you updated. =]

I had it with my first child but I started getting toximia symptoms as early as 4 months! I suffered throughout the pregnancy and ended up delivering at 33 weeks because of the pre-eclampsia making my blood pressure and protien levels out of control. Two years later I had absolutely no problems with my son - the Dr said if it did return it should be a lot less intense because your body builds up an immunity against it. However serveral years later (7) I was pregnant in 2003 and miscarried and when I was at the Dr I was only 6-7 weeks and already spilling protien and having terrible headaches....So not sure if I was exhibiting symptoms again or not.

This pregnancy no symptoms yet and I drink alot of water for the headaches. sometimes dehydration can cause them. Best of luck!
