Hello All.

My name is Tammy and I have been a JM member for about 2 years. Had preeclampsia with my first and delivered early. Now with my second I've had higher, not high, levels, 140/95 to be the highest and protein in the urine. It goes up and down so nothing consistent yet. Also I just did a lot of blood work to see if I could posisbly have an autoimmune disease. These tests came back with some normal and some elevated. So it's being referred to a perinatologist(spelling).
Just wanted to say hi and see if anyone else has had any of these issues or not. I'm currently a little over 22 weeks.

Thanks!

I had pre-e with my first and I am now 36 weeks along with our second and am so curious as to if i'll develop it again. my b/p with my first was perfect until 37 weeks. so we'll see.

Welcome. I'm Kristin.

I have not had these issues, but I am only about 20 weeks with my first. My SIL had pre-e with her first (delivered early as well) and is 27 weeks along with her second with no signs of that yet but is having other issues.

Hope things go well with the specialist. And its good they are checking everything out.

we are here as a sounding board anytime you need it.

I am only high risk due to having major surgery about 3 weeks ago to remove a 10 pound ovarian cyst. So I have an increased risk of pre term labor (which luckily we have not had so far) and my incision has to be monitored for separation as I grow with baby.
