I was browsing the board and wasn't sure where to post this. I started taking zoloft just under a year ago. I got pregnant in Oct and every Dr. I've talked to said the risk was minimal and I should stay on the medicine since that would pose a greater risk, having anxiety, etc. So, I have stayed on as suggested by four different Dr.'s but I know there is some risk of withdrawl symptoms. The heart looks perfect and the baby is great so I am not worried about that. I just don't know what to expect when she gets here....any day now
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks so much!!!
Kathryn, mom of Natalie and Olivia!
well you might have baby by now as I'm seeing this way late. But I took both Zoloft and Buspar during pregnancy was taking is several yrs before I got pg and never stopped. No withdraws at all were noticed with baby they really had no worries at all about those meds. Said baby is 3 now and fine.
