ever, the why me? ? pity party that goes along with a high risk diagnosis?

You know that is very common and natural to feel that way.

What did you do to make yourself feel better?

Before the surgery, I had a lot of "why me" questions. Why it wasn't caught sooner? Why did I have to get this? and so forth...

Nothing made me feel better till after I was out of surgery and wasn't having any complications or preterm labor. And every time I heard her heart beating and felt her movements. Then all my Why Me's went out the window.

I still don't understand it, but can't change it. I know it wasn't caught sooner because I never showed any symptoms or anything.

yes, sometimes I do pity myself especially when I was first bled at 16 weeks. the first two weeks were the hardest. Every time I peed in that ###### pan, I thought "why me huh?"

things are better now. To make myself feel even better, I find talking it out with someone to be very helpful.
