I was admitted many times with my son for blood pressure issues. My longest stay was one week. I was 35w2d when I was released. I was back in there 4 days later and induced.
My stay wasn't nearly as long as others. I know women who have stayed for 20 weeks or more. I cannot imagine how hard that is! The week I was there was pure agony. (noone to talk to..etc) I knew it was best for my son, so I didn't complain at all. But many times I just wanted to go outside and walk around. Even though that pregnancy was complicated, my daughter's was perfectly normal. (until delivery)
Since this is my first, the only hospital stay I have had is for my surgery. I was there for only 4 days though, so I doubt this really counts. I guess it could have ended up being longer if I had complications but luckily I didn't. Not that they would have been able to help me - I was only 17 weeks. So getting to 20 weeks was a huge deal for me.
Luckily still no complications or any signs of any coming.
