well not good....they couldn't see anything...they said that the linning of my womb is thick and they saw something shadowy but couldnt make out what it was....so they are doing blood tests today and saturday to see if they double...to see if its ectopic or a failed pregnancy....the said that it might be i caught on late in my cycle and it was just too ealry to tell...by saturday afternoon i should know if its failed...or a growing pregnancy...they also did a pg test there and then which showed up very positive...what do you think...that im just not as far as i thought im just so confused....has this happened to anyone and gone onto have a healthy pregnancy...im clutching at straws i cant lose another baby...a third loss will crack me up!

Honey, I'm so sorry they couldn't see anything. But that doesn't mean the baby isn't there.

I've lost 3 pregnancies, so I understand your fear.

I believe it is hard to see the baby until after week 7.

Not sure how far along exactly you should be.... but if it is possible that you are only 4-6 weeks, then it could be too early. also was it a vaginal u/s? If not then it is even harder to pick up the baby for even longer.

How far along were you/would you have been when you took your pregnancy test?

You may not be as far along as you thought you were, and sometimes what they want to see is hiding. I've had four losses, and two successful pregnancies, so I know your fears. This pregnancy started off sketchy also, we didn't see a heartbeat until 8 weeks
