You know I get a bit nervous when I don't hear from you.

Are you being treated well?

You are slow with the details already.

Still here! 25 weeks and celebrating it. Leaking of amniotic fluid to a minimum and no signs of infection. My room looks festive for Christmas and my body hurts from not moving. We are praising God for 1 more week!

The food is all right. I can't complain. I just read about MommyBoo and she and I were in the same boat. I am sad for her and excited at the same time. It makes me think that I could go at anytime. A little scared now. We were due around the same day. Sending much love her way!

Trying not to. I am being a good girl and I only go to the bathroom and I get a 3 minute shower every other day. If you saw my greasy hair, I would scare you to death.

Cin, I was wondering: is there a difference between leaking and rupture? I find conflicting info when I Google it. According to my OB, there isn't much difference. They say that I have already defied the odds by going 14 days after the initial leak. I am not much of an odds person but on the net, they say that leaking can go on the rest of the pregnancy and yet I can have a fairly normal pregnancy and go past 32 weeks. There are those who say that women don't make it more than 3-4 past rupture. I never had that huge gush only the leaking feeling. I wish that I weren't the person that has to know everything but I am. I would love to make it to 32 weeks. With the steroids I have had, that would be so much better than 25w. Where can I go to get more info on the diff, if there is one?

You should have seen me after I had my baby. Talk about greasy hair. I had been sweating so bad, I probably smelled bad too and then I couldn't get up for 24 hours after. I feel bad for my nurses. That's the real reason they wear those masks

I don't know anything about the difference with a gush and a leak. Just wanted to say I have heard if you can make it past the first week, your chances are greater for continuing until closer to term.

Good thing you are being good. You aren't allowed to have your baby for at least another 9 weeks!

Hi, i am not a member of this board but decided to stick my head in, i ruptured a week and half ago at 28 and 1/2 weeks. I am also on bedrest in the hospital. I get up to go to the bathroom but i dont have a time limit on my showers, although i sit in the chair in there. I just saw that we are in the same boat here but i did have a rupture definetly not a leak. There was water everywhere and i continue to leak constantly. I too am hoping to make it to 32 weeks. Perhaps some incouageing news, the girl that was in my hospital room before me, her water broke at 25 weeks and she delivered the day before i got here at 35 weeks!!!! Its against the odds but its possible. Hope you stay busy in the hospital and time goes by quickly!
