well, i am new to this board. i am 34, have 4 kids (15, 9, 7, & 6), and i had my tubes tied almost 3 years ago. i think that i might be pregnant......again.
i have all of the symptoms and am just afraid that i could actually hurt myself by becoming pregnant after having my tubes tied. bu hurting myself, i mean that it could be an ectopic, rupture and i bleed out, or something along those lines.

is there anyone else out there that this has happened to and had a healthy baby?

thanks and god bless.

Hi there! I have not had a tubal ligation, but my friend in high school was the result of a pregnancy after one.

The best thing to do, though, would be to schedule an appointment for an ultrasound. They can then rule out an ectopic, and you can move forward from there. Best of luck to you, and please keep us posted!

I do believe the only thing that's different about a pregnancy after a tubal ligation is the risk of ectopic pregnancy increases. So go to the doctor, schedule an ultrasound to rule that out, and you should be just fine.

Did you take a home pregnancy test?
