Hey girls, I had my u/s yesterday and everything looks great! I just thought I'd share something about my awesome doctor. First off, he personally does every u/s, which is so different, but I like it. When we told him that we didn't want to know the sex, he had us look away as he measured the femur (leg). Then he told us that he wasn't able to tell the sex either b/c he chose not to probe any further. He didn't want to find out and have to write it in my chart and run the risk of someone slipping later. Isn't that so nice of him?

So glad everything looks good! I will never forget the feeling of walking out of my 20wk ultrasounds knowing that as far as they can tell, baby is going along great and healthy - couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

Great news, Heather! He does sound like a great doc. Even tho we are having our u/s today in the regular radiology lab, I understand that normally our u/s will be done by our doctor....so, yea, I think that's pretty cool.

that's fantastic news...glad everything is well with the little one! I think your doctor is super nice - it's unusual he does the u/s himself anyway....but how considerate to make sure there's no "slip up" by putting something in your file.

My OB does all of the u/s too, except the genetic ones (obviously). That is great news about the wonderful appointment. And, your doc sounds great!
