Okay, let's see/hear those updates from our preggos, our new mamas, etc. How's everyone feeling? Latest appointments? How are the LO's growing? Pictures please!

I hope everyone is doing well today! DH had to work both days of this weekends, and I've not done that much, just took it easy. I went out yesterday with MIL for a little shopping and today am skipping church (bad Bek) to do some laundry & housework. It's funny when I pull out the vacuum and my kitty hisses and leaves the room. She hates the noise and when I finish cleaning any room, she has to come back and "inspect" my work. And if I move things around on her, it's even worse. She's too funny. For this week, I have an appt with my regular OB on Tuesday afternoon, I have the 2nd bloodtest for the 2nd part of the NT scan the following Monday and I'm keeping my crossables crossed that we continue to get good results. I'm not sure if I'll have another u/s this month, I have one with the peri on Dec 11th. If this LO cooperates, we should know the gender before Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas, Marie asked if we wanted to do a Christmas Card exchange, how does that sound? I think it would be wonderful.

Sounds like a nice relaxing day Becky. My cat does the same thing. She runs when she sees us wheeling the vacuum into the room.

AFM - still taking it easy...getting really bored sitting on the couch doing nothing but watching TV. Seems I sleep better during the day. Not sure why...I drink just as much if not more water during the day. But I'm just waiting for Matthew to decide to come out. My next appt is Tuesday and I'm hoping that she does a cervix check (not really hoping, but you know what I mean....lol) cause I want to know if I'm dialated at all or not. It's really funny now when he gets the hiccups, it kind of echos through my whole lower stomache. Funny feelings.....Hope everyone has a good day and week....I'll check back to check on Beth and keep you updated on us....

Casey ~ I am hoping that your MIL is right and maybe Matthew and Katie will both be born on Monday.
I am going to try walking again today to see if it inspires Katie. . . didn't work yesterday, but I figure that if nothing else it will make me feel a bit better because the weather has been nice this weekend. Not expecting to have many more nice weather days here so I want to enjoy them.

Casey - I'm glad you're taking it easy. I bet it would get boring after a while, but it's for the best for you & Matthew.

Beth - still no Katie. I hope the walk today will get things started for you. It's gorgeous here too @ 72 degrees, so enjoy the warm temps while we have them.

What a beautiful autumn day! We spend a good chunk of our day at a cheer competition for our girls, but had a cozy (if nauseous) stroll thru my husband's college alma mater.

Beth and Casey-- I wonder which of you will meet their little one first I know every day feels like weeks, especially with everyone bugging you about progress, savor the quiet and rest while you can

Becky- I am so excited you may know the gender of your babe soon! Its always such a turning point in pregnancy for me, because it deepens the identity of you baby and you can even try out the name youve picked for them with purpose.

Beth - I was hoping to see an announcement that Katie made her arrival over the weekend (i bet you were hoping too!)...how long will your OB let you go beyond your due date if she doesn't show up beforehand?

My weekend was uneventful b/c I was hurting tooooo much to make it to the mall I've about given up on final errands b/c it's just tough to walk any distance...sigh...the joys of the final few weeks. Have 37wk appt tomorrow - not really expecting any progress with this next cervical check b/c i haven't had any cramping or contractions (but i guess we'll see)...and now i'm not so excited for those cervical checks b/c they HURT and I had spotting all weekend from the one on Fri.

Good afternoon ladies! I am still here. . . no Katie yet. I called in sick to work because I can't get my shoes on (stupid swollen feet) and I have been battling a headache. Going to have some more water and hope that my head eases off. Will post any updates when/if they occur.

Should you be going to your doc? with you having the swollen feet and headache? or have you still been keeping an eye on your BP at home?

Sorry you're in pain Lara - homeward straight how but probably feels like a lifetime to you!!

Becky- how exciting to find out the gender! I know it made things so much more real when I knew that he is a boy and could really plan and dream.

AFM- Spent the weekend at my parents, bought way to many baby clothes, so I am banning myself from buying anymore till after my shower, and when I can go through everything to see exactly what I need.
Had my weekly appt, all is good, lil bugger weighs @ 4lbs.

The ob nurse said that since I have the appt. tomorrow and my bp is not past 140/90, I don't need to come in. I am keeping a check on it at home, although I am not sure it will read the same as it does at the doctor's office. She did say that if things got worse that I needed to go to l & d. DH is texting me every half hour to see how I am feeling. My mom is calling at least once an hour to confirm that I am not in labor.

Sam ~ Awesome news on LO weighing 4 lbs.

Becky ~ Hope work wasn't too rough today.

Jenn ~ How did the girls do at the cheer competition?

Sam, I had to ban myself from the stores too! It's sooooo easy to start shopping and then next thing you know you've got waaaaay more than you need.

A Christmas card exchange sounds like fun! We should probably do it on the regular board (instead of the grads board tho). Sorry if it was mentioned there and I've missed it. I was on JM earlier hoping to get caught up, but then JM went down for maintenance and I wasn't able to get back on till now so haven't made it to the regular board yet.

AFM, I was at our 34 week appointment earlier today. Thankfully, I haven't gained any weight in the last two weeks and my belly is back to where it should be (34cm), strong h/b and unfortunately we have the BGS test in two weeks then after that we'll be on one week appointments. I also made it to the chiropractor before the ob appointment and I was out more than I thought! Hopefully, he was able to get some things back where they were supposed to be so I don't have these carpel tunnel issues anymore.....waking up with my hands and wrists on fire has not been a fun thing to deal with.
