Who says that to a woman, let alone a pregnant woman???!!!

Well my work colleague did yesterday!!! She said my thighs were filling out along with my belly. Oh...right... how exactly am I supposed to take that the 'right' way and respond in a pleasant manner??! And then she continued to look at and talk about my thighs 'getting bigger so quickly' while I filled up my water bottle in the work kitchen.

I mean I work with 100% women and so I guess they get away with commenting that my boobs have gotten bigger and I don't care about comments about my tummy getting bigger because that's an obvious one... but the thighs... well that's a comment I could live without!

I mean obviously I know my thighs and butt have gotten bigger, but I hardly think I need someone else to point that out to me!!!

She's very very skinny and so I think she probably just has no idea that someone might take offence to a comment like that!

Sigh... rant over!!!

I'm sorry she said that to you. Some people can be so insensitive.

Wow, that's really bad! For most of us, yes, it happens, but who points that out!

I'm sure you look adorable.

My FIL once asked where I shopped "Minnesota tent and awning?" He has never lived that one down. He will do anything I ask if I remind him of his comment, so it's not all bad. He said that when I was a week overdue. Andy just looked at him like "I can't believe you just said that!"

Mari that is so funny (probably not so much at the time!!!)..

I know this girl wouldn't have meant to take offence...she's obviously missing the 'tact' gene in her DNA!!

I'd say she is definitely missing the tact gene. Wow!! I can't believe she said it. I've gotten lots of boobs & tummy bigger, but thankfully no one has gone further then that.

That was harsh -who says that? Certainly not an encouraging comment. I'm betting that you look fantastic, Lenore!
