My doctor said that HSG increases the chances of getting pregnant. Anyone here got pregnant after HSG?

I had the trigger injection along with clomid & 2 IUIs. We were successful our 2nd cycle with using all that.

I had the "procedure" while I was already under for a laproscopy for endometriosis -they also removed some cysts from one of my ovaries. That was in October and I conceived three cycles later.

Silly Bek, I misread that as HCG. I had the HSG (where they checked my tubes) too, but we didn't try that cycle afterwards. I've heard great things though with other ladies who've had that done and then they got a BFP shortly after. My doc had said that sometimes just having the dye flushed through "cleans" up the tubes and allows the eggs to move more freely down to the uterus.

It didn't help me conceive, but I've heard people have.

Thank you all for your reply. I think i should not have my hopes high. We are planing to do IUI next cycle. We fall under unexplained infertility.

I had laproscopy and hysterscopy, mainly to remove a pesky cyst in my uterus, but while there he also blew out my tubes and said he got some "boogers" out.
I don't know if it really helped since my issue wasn't getting preggo, just staying preggo. We did two cycles of IUI and clomid, then 1 cycle of injectables with IUI and that one worked!
