Okay, let's see/hear those updates from our preggos, our mamas, etc. How's everyone feeling? Latest appointments? How are the LO's growing? Pictures please!

Wow - does it still feel odd to anyone else that we're now in 2010!!! 2009 was very eventful for DH & I, and looking back I get overwhelmed just thinking about all things that have happened. I'm looking forward to everything 2010 has in store for all of us.

Jess is hanging in there & I'm keeping in touch with her via texts at the moment. It is still painful for her to be on the computer much, but she'll be back before too long. Congrats again sweetie on little Jaylen!!!

Sam - you're next sweetie!!! I hope you're feeling great & we can't wait to meet little CJ!!!!

Marie - I've heard of several ladies who got rid of their maternity/baby items and then wound up pg. But that would be a wonderful time to go shopping.

Mari - congrats again on your little princess! I was convinced I was having a girl, and ended up being a boy. Too funny that you were the opposite of me. And you can always update on your kids here. Little Nathan is such a cutie.

Casey - **Hugs** I had hoped your bp issues would be taken care of by now. I hope you doc will re-do your work restrictions and you can take some additional time off. and Good Luck at your interview tomorrow!!!

Tonya - Good Luck tomorrow!!! I hope the results don't take too long to get back to you.

Jenn - I completely know what you mean about that heartburn. I'm on Zantac as well and taking Pepcid chewables instead of Tums for some relief. Being #1 pg, I don't know what is normal for me, but thought that heartburn would hit me much later in the pg.

Beth - I hope you had a wonderful time with your family!! It shouldn't be that much longer and you'll be down there for good.

Heather - how are you feeling sweetie??? Any new pics of you to share?

Sorry if I missed anyone. I'm trying to remember what all is happening for all of us, but my brain doesn't work that great these days. AFM - I'm doing good. Feeling little Mark move around lots these days, but unfortunately DH hasn't got to feel it yet. Does anyone know when that happens- feeling movements outside the belly? Or does it vary for each pg as well? I would love to share some of this excitement with DH to. The kitty either feels it, or just senses it, as she just stops and stares whenever he starts moving. I believe she's convinced Mama has an alien inside her belly. You should see those looks she gives me. I have my regular monthly OB appt tomorrow afternoon, and the next peri appt is the following Friday, Jan 15th. We'll be getting another u/s at the peri appt, I'll be just about 24 weeks. Hopefully those cysts on the brain are all gone and we get some good pics again of little Mark.

Becky...wait til the cat is curled up next to your stomache and gets kicked...lol...that was funny for me...hope that DH gets to feel Mark soon...

AFM- bp issue is still here...my feet are killing me every day when I get up...I got to call the insurance today to see if they got better paperwork. If not, I go back next week....I can't believe how fast time is going...Matt will be 8 weeks tomorrow....His 2 month appt is next Monday....wow!!!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Becky - thanks for thinking of me. I have talked myself out of having the procedure more than a few times only to talk myself right back into it again. I am just ready to get it over with and get the results back. Thats so cute about your kitty. I think animals do sense something is going on. I am not sure about feeling the movement, but let us know when you do so that I can have that to look forward to.

Casey - I do hope that the doctors can get your bp issues straightened out sooner rather than later. I know you must be miserable.

AFM - amnio scheduled for tomorrow (that is if I don't talk myself out of it). I am feeling pretty good and can't believe that I am nearly half way through this pregnancy!

Becky-- That's so cool you can feel the baby move. I can't wait for that day.

AFM-- My first u/s appointment is scheduled for 1/19 and that seems like an eternity from now. I'll be 8 weeks along at that point though and we should be able to see the heartbeat. I feel like I'm in the bathroom every ten minutes and my bbs hurt like crazy (I think they have already grown a cup size!). No real complaints though. I've had a couple of queasy moments, but no throwing up.

Tashley, will be thinking of you tomorrow - let us know how you go. I can imagine I'd be the same - talking myself in and out of it too...

Becky I think other people being able to feel baby really does vary a lot. I know my friend's dh didn't feel their first baby until about 24 weeks. With me, my dh has usually felt it around 21-22 weeks but to be honest I'm 25 weeks now and I think he's been able to catch the movement less than 5 times all up!! (we've had a busy holiday time too though and with me on the go, baby has been restful!!)

Thinking of everyone but I'd better get ready for work!

hello ladies! I'm busy starting up with my 14 online students-they started today and run until July... Also, we're buying an acreage with a 2200sqft house!! Our house got listed today, so we are ready to start showing it! Praying we get lots of viewings and lots of high offers!
I'll be on intermittently, btwn school and stuff.
Hey, I have none of you on FB, anyone on there?

Casey - I can't wait until little Mark kicks the cat. That will be so funny. It is hard to believe Matt will be 8 weeks old. Time is certainly flying by. I hope you get some relief soon from these bp issues. **Hugs**

Tonya - I think everyone of us would be doing the same thing, talking ourselves in & out of it. **hugs** Hang in there sweetie, and know we're all thinking of you. Update us when you can.

Kimberley - feeling the baby move is amazing!! Your 1st u/s appt is my baby brother's b-day. (He hates when I call him that.) You should be able to see the heartbeat, and it is so amazing to see our LOs for the first time. I teared up, silly hormones. And I definitely know what you mean about the bbs growing. Mine went up in size quickly and I had to buy a bigger band size and cup size almost right away. Since then, they've not grown as fast.

Lenore - I figured it would vary from woman to woman. I just look forward to Tony being able to feel little Mark. He keeps putting his hands on my tummy, but feels nothing so far. Hopefully soon though. Hope you have a good day at work.

Marie - you are going to be one busy gal. Good luck with the listing & I hope your house sells fast and for the price you want. Do keep us posted & can't wait to see the new house. I do have FB, but not on it that much. I'll PM you my info and we can be "friends".

AFM - nothing new pg side to report, but I just wanted to let you all know that I expect to get VERY busy at work again. They've just announced further budget reductions and this unfortunately means the high likelihood of laying more people off @ mid March/early April. And there may be more in July again. I really hate this part of my job. For now, it is lots of juggling and trying to save as many jobs as I can. So I may not have much time to be on JM, and will probably not be my normal chipper self, but will keep you all updated. I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday!!!

Good morning ladies!! UGH I typed everything out and then hit something on my kepboard and lost it all! I hate working on a laptop!

Not gonna try to retype everything! Thinking of all of you!
Marie- I am on FB too I'll PM you my info too.

AFM- Had my 39 week appt yesterday, I have been contracting like crazy- really strong ones, but I'm not progressing any more than I was a week ago. The peri wants the baby out this week, so they are scheduling me for an induction! C.J. will be here this week! Still trying all the home methods of induction, not getting anywhere I don't think.
I will let you know when they schedule it for, I was hoping for today, but they had not heard back from the delivering doctor yet last night, so we are in a holding pattern. Sucks cause we are suppose to be getting some nasty weather starting tomorrow and through Thursday.
I am officially on Maternity Leave though- hence working on my laptop.

Becky~ I know Tony will be thrilled when he can feel little Mark. I know that Mike was delighted when Katie kicked him for the first time.

Casey~ It is hard to believe Matt will be 8 weeks old and Katie is almost 7 weeks old.

Tonya ~ Keep us posted.

Kimberley ~ Feeling the baby move is incredible. I would try to coax Katie into moving when she was having a 'quiet' day because I missed feeling her.

Lenore ~ Hope you had a great day at work.

Marie ~ You sound like you are going to be a very busy lady.

We are still in NC until Saturday morning when the four of us (yes, I am dancing with joy that Mom is coming with us) leave for Indiana. Katie hasn't gotten out of the house because of the wind chills being below zero so anyone who wants to see her has had to come to visit. I am posting a pic of Katie with her sea horse toy in a separate thread. She is getting to be so big. BTW, I changed my username from BethB to MomtoKatieB. I thought since being a mommy is my most important job, I would have my name reflect that.

Hi everyone.

Yeah Sam!!! Good luck this week and can't wait to hear the news....And I know what you mean about the laptop...I do it all the time...

Someone's starting to wake up, so don't have time to reply to everyone. But wanted to update you...Had my interview this morning. I think it went well, but there are 10 of us applying and they are all qualified. The only thing I have going for me I think is that it's in my own store. But I should know Thursday or Friday what happens....I'm still dealing with the insurance company and doc's office about my STD paperwork. So I told work that I would probably be back in two weeks. I can't go much longer without a paycheck, so if the paperwork doesn't get taken care of by the end of this week, I'll probably take my 2 weeks vacation and then go back on the 18th....Matt is finally starting to outgrow his newborn diapers and clothes. Only took 2 months...lol...but the 0-3 are still a little big, so it's a little difficult to dress him sometimes...Oh well..bottle time...Have a good week everyone!

Good luck Sam!!! We all can't wait to meet CJ!

Casey - I hope you hear something soon on the interview. I'll keep my crossables crossed for you sweetie.

Beth - Wow, it is hard to believe Katie is almost 7 weeks old. Love the seahorse you posted in the separate thread.

Tonya - thinking of you sweetie. I hope yesterday's appt went well & update us when you can.

AFM - nothing new really to update. I have my regular monthly OB appt this afternoon. Mark is moving around lots these days, and seems quieter in the evenings/nights which is when DH tries to feel him. Hopefully we can feel movements outside the belly soon as I can't wait to see the look on DH's face. MIL came home last night. Yay!! She's so happy to be back home, and can't wait to start shopping and getting things ready for little Mark. He's going to be so spoiled. I expect to have another busy day here at work, so may not have a chance again to pop back online. I hope you all have a wonderful Hump Day!!!

So I just got the phone call about the job...nope. They said that they chose someone else. This person has more experience than me and their answers were a little stronger. I was told that management was looking for someone who was experienced, strong, positive, etc etc etc.... BS! Oh well, now when I go back I have to work with someone new that I don't know and that got the position that I really wanted. Should be interesting to say the least.....

Oh Casey, I'm sorry. . I was hoping you would get the news you were hoping for. I'm sure it will be tough to work for this new person, but I know you will handle it with class. I hope you are feeling better with your blood pressure.

Good luck Sam. I was hoping little CJ would come on his own so you wouldn't have to induce. I hope you can get as close to natural child birth as you were hoping and that your induction goes well. I have been induced a few times and am hoping for the best for you.

Becky, I'm sorry things are rough at work. I can't imagine how hard it is to lay someone off. We are up to 4 months layed off here and it stinks, but we also had only one income, so to go from 1 income to none is tough. Andy does get unemployment but it is only 35 % of what he normally gets. We are in the process of starting our own business, so wish us luck. Sorry, to get off topic.

Hi all! Happy New Year!

Good luck, Sam! I'm sending you tons of ELVs!

Casey, I'm so sorry to hear about the job.

Becky, I can't for the life of me remember when DH was able to feel Carson! I tried looking back at some old threads, but couldn't find it. I know that I posted that DS felt him first. I'm pretty sure that he was feeling Carson by the time we went on our anniversary trip and I was around 6 months then.

Hello and happy baby thoughts to everyone else!

I just wanted to post a few holiday pics since it has been awhile: (In the last pic, I came back from the bathroom to find DH giving Carson his first "driving" lesson!)

Casey - I'm so sorry about the job. **hugs** I've been in your shoes, and even had to train the other person, so frustrating. But as Mari said, I'm sure you will handle the situation with class.

Mari - can't remember if I've commented on your new siggy pic. So cute!! I can imagine it's hard to get everyone lined up for photos. I remember Andy being laid off, and that must be so tough. At least when my DH was laid off, we did still have my income coming in. And that unemployment is never the same. It's a capped amount here in Maryland, so it wasn't even 35% of DH's income, but thankfully we were only on it for a short 6 weeks. I hope & pray your home business takes off for you!!! Do keep us posted on that!!

Sam - I hope everything is going great for you!! Does anyone know if she has a buddy who'll be updating JM? I've lurked on the Jan DDC, but didn't see anything this morning.

Hi Heather!! - Good to "see" you and of course your adorable sons! I love their smiles and just want to hug them thru the computer.

With me, my doc appt never happened yesterday afternoon. The waiting room was packed when I arrived, and 1 1/2 later I still had not been seen, so we rescheduled for another day. It was so hot sitting there and DH & I were both so exhausted. We left and headed home. I'll go in next Friday before my peri appt (they're in the same building) and that'll be my Jan appt. Hopefully we won't have any delays next week. They did take my weight and the urine sample before the appt as typical, and I've gained 6 pounds since last month. I know that this is the time I will gain more weight as little Mark is growing like crazy. It was still a shock though as the scale has barely moved on me since getting pg. DH laughed at my expression and the technician assured me this was completely fine & healthy. It was just a shock at first. Isn't that funny? I hope you all have a wonderful day & I'll check in when I get a chance.

I did follow through with the amnio as scheduled. It was a little uncomfortable and I still have some soreness, but for the most part it really wasn't that bad. When I originally scheduled the amnio, they told me the results would be back in about 5 days but when I asked again I was told that it would take up to two weeks. Ugh!!!

So, the girl who was doing the ultrasound during the amnio wanted to know if I was interested in finding out the sex - of course, I told her yes!!! She said she was 99% sure that it was a GIRL! But they'll do another scan at 20 weeks and hopefully they can tell for sure then.

Congratulations on a baby girl Tashely! I hope the soreness goes away quickly.

Thought I might get on today (Friday lunchtime here) and see some news from Sam... maybe soon!

Great photos Heather!

What a pain about having to wait so long Becky and not being seen.

AFM, I had my latest appt this week - in and out quickly which I always take as a good sign. He felt the size of the baby and said he thought it was a 'good size' - I am used to hearing my babies are on the small side so I am very interested as to whether this baby will be a bit bigger than my other two (who were just over and just under 7lbs). He listened for the heartbeat and all seems well . Glucose test in 3 weeks time.

Sorry about the job Casey. I also had an interview recently for a job I didn't get. I wasn't actually that worried about getting it but obviously it still feels disappointing and feeling like I wasn't goo enough! My feedback was that technically the person who got it and myself both gave the right answers, but that she was more confident in getting it across than me. What can I say, interviews make me nervous and I can't hide that!!
