retyped since it disappeared last night-busy!

So here's the thing

The twins have a bio sister who is 10 months older than them named Elizabeth. I've seen a picture once, but never met her, hardly hear from the bio grandparents, but we send pictures often. Today I get an email from grandma saying bio parents are divorcing, Elizabeth might be at risk of harm, she's living with grandparents and hardly sees bio parents anyhow. She asks if Elizabeth can come for a "visit" from this Saturday until we fly to Mexico on Feb 5th. Of course we said yes, they gave us the most amazing gift in the world, the least we could do for them is provide Elizabeth a home for a few weeks to keep her safe until??? They live 7 hours away-grandma will spend Saturday night with her and leave on Sunday. We're not sure where this will lead, but I'm not looking too far ahead, as far as I know, she's just here for a visit and that's it for now-we'd love to adopt her, we've been praying this might come up.

Sunday, I'll be responsible for a 39 month old, a 21 month old, and two 11 month olds-crazy, lol!

Yes, you are very blessed. I hope she loves the time there and you never know....maybe the bio grandparents will see that too and want you to adopt her as well. I will be praying for you, that would be amazing. Good luck caring for one more, you'll do great!

Aww, thank you ladies! DH and I have said that we weren't sure if three was enough; we felt so blessed just to have Nolan, that two more kids were a little over the top, and a fourth would have to be a miracle! Imagine, four years to this day, I'd just had a m/c and I didn't know I was pg with Nolan yet, and in two days I'll have four beautiful kids in my home-I'm getting teary!

I replied to your post yesterday too Marie - something weird was obviously going on as I noticed last night it had disappeared! Anyway I really hope things work out the way you want it and that you are able to adopt Elizabeth and keep her with her (3!) brothers and from harm. Let us know how you go with four little ones!!

thank you ladies! I'm excited, but scared-how will we cope with four, all those normal fears, I think. I'm praying that this little girl receives the best parents for her, whether its us or not.

Enjoy the visit with the little princess. Who knows what the plan is? You all might end up with a little princess to go with your little princes.

I agree - pictures please!!! Marie - this is so wonderful & I hope you are able to adopt Elizabeth as well. That would be so incredible!! In the meantime, I hope you're enjoying yourself & I can't wait to hear the updates.

very busy with four, but fun! This morning she and Nolan shared a room and both were up at 4am, Nolan went to bed with DH, and she and I slept in their room. Nolan had preschool, we had a house showing, I had my crown put on, four of the six of us have had a nap, and now we're waiting for Elizabeth and the twins to wake up and head out! Tomorrow swimming lessons start!

Aw, Marie! I'm so thrilled for you to be enjoying your larger family, even if having Elizabeth is only temporary. We are all praying that she gets the family that will be best for her....even tho we are all praying even harder that it's your house that she ends up in. You have truly been blessed!
