I am actually considering putting the invitation in her baby book since it will be another first for my little sunshine girl. I am a bit worried though because this is my first party as a mommy and I don't know about age appropriate gifts for two year old girls. I mean, Dixie-Lea's mommy said bubbles and stuff she can play with outside, so I suppose that is what I am going to get, but I am feeling so clueless. What if I make some giant oopsie with gift choosing and Katie is not invited to the parties for the other kids from church???? Okay, I am probably worrying for nothing but if someone could tell me if bubbles and bubble blowing toys are age appropriate for a two year old, I would appreciate it greatly. If that isn't a good idea, toss some other ones my way. The party is this Saturday.
Thanks for any input you all can give.

my 2 year olds drink bubbles; dolls and strollers are always a hit for two year old girls

yeah, I'd go with a doll too. Bubbles and toddlers don't seem to mix well.

Our two year old pours the bubbles out within minutes. But, they make great little pull wagons filled with sand and beach toys that they have at Walmart and our kids love them and they are not real expensive. The load them up with stuff and pull them around the beach/yard, wherever. Toss in some cute barettes and your all set!

Have fun!
