Sorry this took me a little bit to get to, but here (finally) are some pictures of our princess. I just can't explain how much we love this new little bundle. Being number 8 doesn't make her any less special or amazing to us. She is such a blessing.
I went in on Thursday, May 13th at 730 am to have my water broken. I was already diated to a 4 and since my blood pressure was high, decided it was time to break my water and get her delivered. Plus with Andy working out of town, he didn't want to miss her birth. I was a little uncomfortable by about 830 and decided to lay down and take a nap, I was so tired from being up worrying the night before. I woke up and started walking around the room and just taking to Andy, hoping things would start moving. Around noon, they started to get going. I was pretty uncomfortable, so I kept walking the room. My doctor came in and asked if she had time for lunch, and I told her, "sure, I think babe is a little bit out yet, so go ahead, but check back after lunch". So she came back at 1:15 pm and I told her I was getting close. She checked me and I was about 8 cm. I than got in the birthing pool and started breathing thru contractions. I pushed 4 times and out she came. I had a wonderful birth. It couldn't have gone better. Andy and I are so in love with her as are her siblings and she was worth it all!
