Whats going on ladies????

AFM- had my family reunion this weekend. Was nice. We were missing a lot of people because an Aunt on one of the othersides pased away last week and tha portion of the family (which is HUGE) were at her funeral. So we lost amost 40 people right off the bat. CJ apperently was the star of most of the pics- helps since he is super friendly and just so darn cute!! My cousins baby was there too, she is so tiny I think people are afraid to hold her, she is 3 months old and still in newborn clothes. Was fun making my cousin feel old- him holding his grand daughter and me my own baby, since he is only 6 years older than me.
Going to meet with the endocrinologist tomorrow, hoping he can figure out my thyroid- and hoping he doesn't try to stop our plan to TTC next month.

Good morning to everyone! Hope everyone is having a good start to the week.

Sam- Glad you had a good time at the reunion. I'm sure CJ was adorable, I think he's at such a fun age. Sorry about your Aunt and that so many people were missing. I hope your doctor appt goes well and that they figure out what's going on and it doesn't put off TTC number 2 .

AFM, things here are going pretty good. Miss Lila is sleeping a steady 2 1/2 hours during the night, than she's up to eat. I was hoping she could be making it to 3 1/2 hours during the night, but no luck yet. All in due time I guess. Andy is back out of town. He left this morning at 3:30 and is coming home Thursday afternoon. I'm excited because he's coming home about 6 hours earlier, which means help with meals and bath, and plus I just miss him. He told his boss that he was going to be leaving earlier on Thursdays to help take care of his wife and kids and if they needed something they can reach him on his cell. I'm a lucky woman.
The rest of the kiddos are doing well and enjoying summer. We are trying to get a better nap/bedtime routine down, now that summer is here and it's light later and nicer out. I'm working on finishing up getting our garden in, I'm really late this year. Andy has been working on other projects around the farm. In the next month we hope to get new steers, pigs, meat chickens and laying chickens. So that is keeping us busy updating housing and fencing needs. This farm life is busy, especially working another out of town job, but we are loving it.

I am going to try and get into the doctor this week and have my blood pressure checked again and try and decide a course of treatment. It's still high, I've been checking it, but I really don't like the thought of medication for it at almost 36. I guess we will see what my doctor says.

I know it will not be a surprise to any of you, but last night Andy and I were laying in bed and he says, " I'm really hoping God blesses us with another little one soon." I love that he just trusts the Lord with the family size/planning. Even when we think we'd need a new van (any more blessings and we won't fit, unless I ride on the roof, which somedays is tempting ), an addition on the house (our house is 1499 sq feet for 10 of us, yikes!) etc. he's still willing to give it over to God. We know He will provide for what He has given us. We are so so blessed.

Okay, sorry this got so long and off topic! I hope everyone is well!

Hey Sam, we told you CJ would be a hit at the reunion!! Hope the specialist can give you some answers.

Mari, I follow a blog that I stumbled on ages ago. I guess I follow it because it fascinated me to see how she homeschooled and cared for so many children (12 at this stage). You might enjoy it too - it's The Lockwood Family They are missionaries in Mexico and honestly I don't know how she does it when I think having 3 keeps me busy!! Work on a farm never ends does it - my parents are still farming (probably won't ever retire!) - am so grateful for my childhood growing up on the farm and wish we didn't live so far away from my parents because my boys don't get to experience the farm life much and I wish they could!

AFM, Layla is 8 weeks old today! 2 month vaccinations booked in for next week which of course I'm not looking forward to.

Bug is officially 5 weeks today!!
I hadn't realized that CJ and Layla where exactly 3 months apart!

We have ANOTHER ear infection, DH is taking CJ to the doctor. This after a long drawn out morning of DH not having his cell phone with him and me having to go find him at McDonalds so I could give him the baby.
I ranted about it here- http://www.justmommies.com/forums/f1...infection.html

Can't chat long, mom's in the hospital again. She called me at 12:30am and said she was bleeding again. Got her to the ER by 1am and I left there about 6am. She was stable and the floor doctor had finally seen her and was getting her moved to a room. So I came home for a couple hours of sleep, before Jaylen woke me because she was hungry. Been trying to get a few things done and figured since I was on PhotoBucket and I had promised new pics of her thought I'd get this done before I forgot or time got away from me again. We can't believe how much she's grown!

Love and Hugs to all of you!!

2 months old

3 months olf

4 months old

5 months old. The day before we saw her 1st tooth.

Just the other day....she LOVES her oatmeal!

So cute Jess! I love the 4 month pic .

Hugs to CJ Sam - it's tough with recurrent ear infections. Oliver got them for a while when he was a baby but thankfully he hasn't had one for a couple of years now.

Hi everyone....I can't believe how big the babies are getting....Matt turns 7 mo. tomorrow and time is flying....The two bottom teeth are in and the 2 top ones are starting...we are not sleeping through the night anymore, but I think that is due to the teething process.....The good news is that DH started his new job and things seem to be going good. They keep giving him more and more to do and learn, so hopefully this temp to hire thing will work out...I haven't uploaded pics of Matt for a while, but hopefully will when I have a couple days off next week. Once I get through the two weddings we have this month, I'm hoping to spend my days off getting more of his scrapbook done. I haven't done anything since I was about 4 months prego...I'm awful....Just had too much other stuff going on with me in the hospital (appedix) and then DH's broken foot and then work and then the baby and the holidays....you all know how it is.....Hope everyone has a good week!

to all. If I miss someone, I apologize in advance, I am sort of scattered right now.
Jess ~ Keep us updated on your mom. Love the pics.
Casey~ Hard to believe Matt is almost 7 months and has teeth. Katie is so jealous because she just gnaws frantically and looks at me like "Mommy, make it better".
Sam ~ Sorry CJ has an ear infection.
Lenore~ Hope you and the family are well.

AFM ~ Katie had her appt. on Monday and the nutritionist was really happy with how she was doing. He is super nice and even though it was the first time we had met with him, he put me at ease. We went on a shopping trip today so I could get formula, cereal and baby food (I don't know how we would do it without the WIC program because we had no money coming in for so long and the bill for today's Katie food trip was more than $125 but that is for the month).
I started my job on Monday. I am a photo lab tech in training (had to add the in training part because I am still really antsy about the equipment) and will work mostly nights and weekends (roughly 30 hrs/wk). Today was my day off so I am trying to catch up on everything.

Beth, hopfully you can get some practice getting some of your own photos developed for free?! Do CVS sell formula? Just wondering if you would get a staff discount?

Casey I don't scrapbook and the only photos I have even put in albums are from almost 5years ago when my ELDEST child was born!! I did that about 2 years ago.. So you're not doing so badly really!!! But talking about it has sort of made me feel a little motivated to do Jonah's hospital photos and then maybe I'll get to Layla's in another few years...

Hi ladies! I hope you all are doing good this week. It's been pretty busy for me, so I'm just now getting a chance to check up on all you lovely ladies this evening!! We're doing good, just been busy. Today we interviewed our first day care center. The lady who runs is was wonderful! DH liked her too. We want to interview a few more places before we make our final decision, and hope to do that in the next couple of weeks.

Well hate to cut this short, but want to head to bed soon. I'm exhausted today. Before I go though, I realized that I don't think I've posted any pics since his birth, BAD Bek!!, so here's a few from photobucket that I had time to upload.

2 week -

3 week -

4 week -

5 week -

newer family pic of us

when I looked closer, I could see he was looking at himself in the mirror.

Loving the baby pictures!!! How cute

Jess- Hang in there... sending hugs...I can't believe you little one is 5 months, wow!

Beth-- Congrats on the new job!

Sam- Im glad the reunion went better than expected...

Just an exhausted quickie: One more day and one more week of school-- my 7th graders are wilder by the minute! Last weeks doc appt, I was still 1 cm. They sent me fora detailed u/s scan on Tuesday as a precaution (based on my loss history) and everything looked great. He's measuring about 6.5 lbs and dh has been calling him a runt ever since. Of course dh weighed 4lbs and is now a 6'3" broad shouldered linebacker-- so I'm not too worried. Have another appt tomorrow. Feeling pressure and feeling "weird" hope I'm made some progress... we'll see! Wish I "knew" like Mari does!

Aww Becky he is just so cute!!!!

Yesterday was just one of those days for me. First got a call from DH that his Aunt died in her sleep that morning (her son-in-law found her) she had been ill and her husband had passed about 2 weeks ago. We found out after that she had some more serious health concerns then she had let us know about before. I'm just glad that we were there last week and she got to meet and play with CJ.
Then last night my mother called to tell me my great Uncle had also dies in his sleep that morning. (96 and had a stroke on Monday so kind of expected).
Now we are in the waiting game for DH's cousins to get here, so they can make arrangements for his aunt. My Uncle is in SC so won't be able to go to that one

No one else is allowed to die for quite a while!!! 2 in one day is too much!

Becky he's gorgeous!

Jenn hopefully not too much longer for you to wait...

Big Sam. I know you said your reunion was down on numbers due to a funeral so to lose another two family members (especially in one day) is rough.

AFM, not much to report. My girlfriend's partner had twins today - a boy and girl (same sex couple obviously ) - Olive and Noah - one born vaginally and one c-section due to cord problems. Poor thing having to recover from both types of delivery but the important thing is they are all well. She made it to 36 wks and had two 6lb babies so that is good going!
