Figured I could start this one for the week.

How's everyone doing? Updates? Pictures are always loved here!

AFM - we're doing okay, just still dealing with these hot & humid temps. Mark is growing so fast, so much, and it's both wonderful & sad at the same time. Our little boy is growing up, and he's only 8 weeks old today. He is smiling alot these days, but it is still hard to catch with the camera. It's getting a little easier though, and I've gotten a few pics of it. I'm uploading them now, so once they're done I'll post some for you ladies to see. We have his 2 month doc appt on Friday, and he'll also receive vaccinations that day. DH took off work as well so he'll be with us for the appt. Then on Saturday we're heading down to visit my family for the long weekend and bringing Mom back with us to stay for a little while. She's so excited to see her new grandson, and I know it'll be nice to have her up here with us for a while.

So what all is up with everyone else? I can't wait to hear everyone's updates for this week.

not much new here. Just got back from another camping weekend with friends. We had ten trailers, 28 children, 8 dogs, and 25 adults-it was hot, non buggy, beautiful, and busy! All of the kids loved it, and we got to visit and eat a deep-friend turkey-yummy! Not much planned this week, Mylo gets groomed tomorrow, dh goes back to work on Wednesday, and Canada Day is on Thursday. Nolan does preschool next week for two weeks of summer camp, on his 2nd week I get to go to cooking school for a week! I am so excited!!
Then we're camping for another week, then gone camping for a month to Manitoba, then the Dakotas, then back here for our wedding on the 23rd!
Sorry, I just had to make sure you girls all knew what I was doing for the next 8 weeks, lol!
Becky, hopefully your little man does well with his vaxes, I always Tylenol all of mine for 24 hours, and they do just fine with that. I would love to see a new pic of him!

AFM- nothing really this week. Getting ready for vacation next week- fishing in MN! The high there is suppose to be 74, big change from the 90-100's here! CJ is also going to turn 6 months while we are there! and

Lots going on here....no sign of te pox yet, so that's good. We broke through tooth #3 overnight Saturday into Sunday....up top, on the right. Had my baby sister's wedding yesterday...Had a great time. We loved showing off Matt. Had some pics taken, will post later on. Took Matt out on the inlaws boat the other night for the first time....Here's his pic...


Now we are just relaxing hoping that the humidity goes away soon...Hope everyone has a great week!

Marie - your camping trips always sound like so much fun. And I will definitely keep some Tylenol on hand for Friday's appt.

Sam - wow, CJ will be 6 months old!! That's amazing!! I know sad for Mama though.

AFUs....Jaylen had her 6 month appointment yesterday, with more vaccines She did better this time than last, she didn't cry as much. She's 27 1/2" long (95%) and 16 pounds 7 ounces (50%). She has her two bottom teeth and I'm thinking she's having a rough time with a top one (or both) since she's been really fussy. She's still only rolling over one direction but she's sitting up great. She LOVES oatmeal, doesn't care for carrots too much (more like tolerates them) but seems to enjoy banannas and apple sauce. Mom's got yet another appointment today and again on Friday. We go to University of Washington Medicine on July 20th to discuss liver transplant options. I guess I'm doing ok. Went to the doctor a little over a week ago to discuss why my cycles haven't regulated (even tho I'm on bcp) and seem to be getting worse so he changed up my bcp to have more progesterone in it....personally I think I started them at the wrong time and my body is fighting the cycle the pills want me on ). I "think" that's it for me Love and Hugs to all!

I wish I could respond to you all, only have a second, and Miss Lila is stirring. I'm thinking of you all.

As for us, our Lila is 7 weeks old tomorrow. Wow, time has flown! She is growing good and putting on weight. We do have one concern with her though. We have had lots of newborns all with different personalities and such, but none like Lila. Long story short, we took her to the doctor last week because she has no facial expressions, doesn't smile, and never seems to look at us. I feel like my baby has never seen her mama . Our doctor held her for a bit and watched her and did a couple of quick tests and didn't see her eyes following objects or tracking anything. Our doctor says she is more newborn like in her social skills. We are not really sure what that means, but our doctor is sending us to a specialist at her two month checkup if things aren't improving. She thinks she might not be able to see us . We are praying that is not the case, and that she will pick up those skills in the next week or so. Please pray for our little Lila. She means the world to us.

I had to buy the store brand at work because of the recall. Our store brand isn't made my Tylenol I guess and wasn't part of the recall....Maybe the pharmacy (CVS, Walgreens, etc) has a store brand that you can get....I just went by the weight on the side and just divided it in half (a few times...lol) til I got his weight...It'll help with the teething too when that starts...

I sold some CVS brand fever reducer today so the store brand must not have been included in the recall, the tylenol section is still bare.

Don't rush it Beth....Matt is cutting his 2nd on top and is pooping two or three times a day, won't sleep, is cranky, and is putting EVERYTHING he can get his little hands on into his mouth.....But when they do come in the smiles are just so darn cute....I'd show you, but whenever we take out the camera, he gets all serious and stuff....

AFM, been away for a week at my parents' cattle property, now home getting ready for my ds's 5th b'day party tomorrow (his actual b'day is Monday) so I won't be online for a bit still .
