Lots of questions, since we're now working on planning Mark's bday. I can't believe he'll be 1 year old on May 2nd! So, did you all do anything special? What did you do? Did they have their own smash cake (I see that's becoming very popular)? Did you do games for other kids that are there? How many people were there?

We had a party with family and friends. Mostly adults, so no games for kids.
He had his own smash cake, which we of course took tons of pictures of him eating. (look on my FB). He had a blast, and I think everyone else really enjoyed it too.

We went all out for Matty. We had our whole families here (about 25 people, kids included). DH's aunt made Matt his own Mickey cake and then a sheet cake for everyone else. Just be sure to take lots of pics and make sure that others are too because you will be busy with Mark and helping him eat and cake and presents and everything....facebook has pics from matts...look me up casey cochran melanson
