How did it get be the middle of March and I just got here . Shame on Me!

I backread a little bit and am just stopping in between baking cookies and dinner, so it will be short.

Betsy-Congrats on a great ultrasound!
Lenore- I was thinking of you last week when our seasons changed. I am so glad you are back, I missed you!

I also had laser eye surgery, and it was wonderful! The easiest surgery I've ever had and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. We are saving up for our kids to get it done. Based on genetics....all 9 will need it. My DH also had it done and loves it.

I gotta run, but hope everyone is well and I'll try and stop back everyday. Little Mr. Henry is a full time 100% job. He's been my toughest little one yet, but Andy says it's because he's spoiled

Fingers crossed, we have an offer on our old house. It would be wonderful to sel it. We took a major beating, but or so thankful for our new place and focus on that. We are closing in 6ish weeks.

Great your house sold Mari! I know I haven't been around for ages but I feel like last time I did check in you were trying to sell it, must have been difficult for you but hopefully all settles well!

Great news on your scan Betsy!

Shame you missed out on your scrapping time Beth but yes, one day you will look back and be glad for those extra snuggles .

Jonah has his 5th birthday party on Saturday and his actual birthday today so I also sent cupcakes to school for his class. He had a blast! It was supposed to be a party at a park but it looked like it would rain (and it did 1/2 way through) so we ended up having it at our house. The kids (about 25) were so well behaved! Yes they raced around and made lots of noise but there were no fights or pulling things out of cupboards etc... guess they're a bit older now .

We had a pinata, and also played pin the tail on the donkey and pass the parcel. I love stuffing the pinata and seeing how excited the kids get and I keep a bag of things back to give things to any children who don't get very much in the mad grab for things!

I know I should post photos but I feel unmotivated to jump onto photobucket!
Have a good week everyone .

Oh and did anyone see in the TTC main section Lelila's post about being 4 years post cancer after being told she wouldn't see her son start kindergarten? Her dh has had a vasectomy so they can try to have another baby but she's scared (understandably)... anyway she posted that a week or so ago, I only just checked in and I did reply but didn't really have any good advice... just thought I'd mention in case someone else wants to give her some encouragement!

Thanks Lenore, I popped down and responded to her.

We are having a shortened school day due to nice weather again. We are 40 degrees above average! Love it.

Thanks for all the well wishes on our house! I'll let you know how it is going.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

Happy Monday ladies! We've been a sick household, so I've been MIA lately. I'm got to run now but wanted to jump in & say Hi. I'll be back later to catch up with everyone.

Good Thursday Morning! Where is everyone?

We have more rain/drizzle today for the 4th day in a row. I know it's only March, but we got spoiled with 70s and sunny for a few days.

Hope everyone has Blessed Day!

We've been so spoiled here with spring arriving early. mid 80s again today, it was 70s+ all week, but back to rain & 60s this weekend. We skipped winter this year.

Marie - stay safe in the snow. I hope you don't have to go anywhere.

Mari - Hi sweetie!!

Happy Friday ladies! Sorry for not posting much lately, work is still busy & it's taking a little time to get my energy level back to normal. That icky intestinal bug hit our household, and 3 of were sick one after the other. Thankfully MIL was spared. So now, we're just enjoying the spring, the longer days, getting prepared for Easter, starting preparations for Mark's bday party, and then MIL leaves for Greece at the end of April. busy busy busy.

So does anyone have plans for the weekend?

Hope you're all feeling better Becky! We haven't had the whole family down sick for ages, touch wood. Layla did catch a few bugs when she started daycare a couple of months ago, and I expected that to happen.

Quiet weekend for us. Dh is coach for your eldest son's soccer team so he has to go a soccer clinic tomorrow. I have vouchers for a kids indoor play centre so I might take them to that - we can stay all day sometime and it completely wears them out!

Jonah has an ENT specialist appt on Monday. He's been clearing his throat for ages and we checked it all out last winter and ended up with it not being an allergy (not any he was tested for anyway), or asthma related, so the explanation was it must be habit. He stopped it for a while but it's started again and the doc wants to make sure there is nothing untoward going on in his throat (of course makes me worry when she said that and I was thinking, why didn't someone suggest an ENT last year??)... anyway, I got an appt quickly so at least I'm not going to be worrying about it for months.

Have a good weekend .

No Lenore, I'm not talented enough to post a picture. I'm lucky enough to get my siggy working

Thanks ladies. We are super excited! I gave Andy an early Easter basket, with a card from "Guess Who". He loved it. He's always super protective when I'm pg, no more lifting anything unnecessary, no more caring clothes to the clothesline. He drops whatever he's doing to come and carry it for me. I'm old fashioned and love that he does that. He is just the best.

We are praying for a healthy baby and just hope everything is going okay in there.

Have a great Day!

Congrats, Mari!! That is so exciting and what a sweet way to tell your DH.

Lenore - good luck today with Jonah's appt. I'm glad you didn't have to wait long to get the appt & I hope you get some answers.

AFM - Happy Monday ladies! It was another busy weekend, that included a bird in the house on Saturday morning. Quite a mess to clean up, but bird was released back outside and then we re-attached screening on the dryer vent and cleaned out the 2nd nest of the season. silly birds. We've gone through this before, but this was the first time one actually came inside the house. Hopefully with the re-attached screening with some extra screws this time, they won't be able to come back in the vent.

Hi ladies! I seem to be on "slow." It took me a week to write a friend an email back! So sorry I'm not posting often. This weekend was ok—Saturday was great, Sunday I was sick all day. Luckily today has been pretty good, especially since I am at work.

The weather has been very warm here but this week is supposed to be cooler. Wow this is a boring post.

Mari, congrats!!!

oh a bird in the house would not be much fun-stay away birds!

Happy Tuesday! Two kids in preschool today (two different schools different times), dh at work, sitter here with the other three-I get an hour uptown by myself!

Busy working on my last paper for my 2nd Masters course-I always leave it to the last minute. Thankfully I have April off then two courses for the summer and I'm almost half done!
