What a beautiful day!!!

On Friday......June 2 2006......Went for a doctor visit. My doc said I was dilated 1 cin. He ask me if I wanted to go be induced. I said sure.....Away to the hospital we went....My hubby & I.
I called my 3 kids.....I called my Mom.
We got there around 10:00 a.m. friday morning. After getting me all ready they put pit. in my IV.....My doc told the nurses I could have an Epidural any time I wanted it. I decided to wait it out...I had a really nice nurse Danelle.
I decided to have the Epidural when I was 5 almost 6 cin dilated.

It was my first one ever......I jerked when he put it in....So, it ended up lasting only about 2 hours. Then it started wearing off fast...I had to have it taken out & re-done. The second time lasted through out Mirandas delivery. I was in labor for 15 hours.
The second nurse I had through labor was nice also......She called my doc in after I had pushed Miranda down as low as I could. I told her I did not want any suction device used on her head. But, after my doc came in he talked to us about using the suction device.......I still had lots of pushing to do.....He showed my hubby & I the device he could use on Mirandas head. To make it easier.......So, we decided to let him use it.
She came right out with that push. The pressure & burning was pretty heavy.... He numbed down there.....I had to have stitches....

Miranda Rashelle was born at 3:31 a.m. on June 3 2006!! She weighed 7 pounds 7 ozs. And was 20 & a half inches long.....And sooooooo perfect & beautiful!! Head full of black hair...
When my doc held our sweet baby girl up to us.......I thanked GOD for her.....My hubby was beeming with joy! His first baby at 44 years old! And she looked just like him.

Being pregnant, giving birth & being a Mom is the most amazing thing on this earth....
I feel sooooooo very blessed.....

Miranda is our life now!!! We love her very very deeply!!!

Where does the time go that this is a memory. She is almost two. How did she get to be almost 2?
