I had braces twice in my teens. Yep, you read right, twice. My teeth are crooked again! I'm thinking of getting braces again. If you had to get braces now, would you opt for traditional or invisiline?

I dont think I could afford invisiline, I would want them though.

Why do your teeth keep moving?

That's what I was thinking too. But, I bet they are too expensive for me too.
I have no idea why they keep moving. I had both sets before I had my wisdom teeth removed, so that may be part of the reason. I lost my retainers early, that could be another reason.

I'm thinking, as an adult, I should be more responsible this time.

Have you ever had braces?

No, my teeth arent perfect, but not crooked enough to warrant braces.

I actually started orthodontic treatment with both of my sons when I was 36. I wore them for 2 years and now where retainers at night (probably will for ever). My lower retainer is actually an invisiline, my original retainer didnt fit well and my orthodontist thought this would work better for me. It seems to work just fine but I honestly preferred having traditional braces over the invisiline, just my preference.

I have no regrets and am very happy with my results....my teeth werent that bad but it was something I wanted to do for me. And like you said you will probably be more responsible as an adult-knowing that you are paying for it may help with that.


From what I have heard I dont think invisiline is really much more than traditonal braces.
