It has been HOT!
Sunday we went to start cleaning the new house . We have running water but still no electricity. Mostly dusting and mopping the floors. Everything was covered in sawdust and dirt from all the work inside. Will take quite a few clean thrus to get where I want it. Anyhows... my dh and I sure felt it this morning, i could hardly get out of bed. I was drinking water by the liters which I rarely do ( and know I should do) and dh was reaching for the water and juice which he rarely does. It always amazes me how fast the weather turns and I'm running for my summer clothes. Just seems to be happening alittle too soon. I'm hoping it's a fluke and will get abit cooler in a few days.

Anyone else having extremely hot weather than normal?

Janice,
I have a friend from Cyprus. His name is Vasilis. Pronounced, vasilly. Ha. Talk about a greek guy. He has taught me much about the culture and food there. Very neat place.

I live in South TX, and it has been hotter then normal...or so they have been telling me in the news. I moved here last June and it was hot as all get out then.

Well it's still hot here
Right now I'm just getting the BIG plastic bags out and dumping all the winter clothes in them. Need room for our summer things

Becky it sure is a small world! I mean there are alot of Greeks in the US but to come to know a Cypriot, nice! I'm sure it's hot by you too in TX. I know we always complain about the heat when it first comes and than you just get use to it. It always hits me hard even though it's the same thing every year.

Mel I would love a few days of rain but that is just becasue I'm here and not there I'm glad one of us is enjoying the weather!
