Honestly, I always wanted to be child free by age 50 so my wife and I could travel and do whatever we wanted unencumbered. It was fine if I didn't have a child of my own, I was settled with that.

After many conversations we decided to go ahead and try to have a child. Well, her being a Fertile Myrtle, and me being like Scott's Fertilizer, we got it done on the first go 'round.

I had mixed feelings at first, mostly excited and anxious, but as each day passed I became more and more excited. I can't wait. Any and all apprehension I had has gone by the wayside and I can't wait for our bundle of joy. I'd have never thought my love for my wife could increase any more than it was, but it has.

I'm thrilled.
