are there any really interesting historical places near where you live?

what are they?

I live in montreal and there are some cool places. Montreal was settled ages and ages ago by the french. C'est vrai n'est pas?

and we have the old port which is really cool and maintained as it was. We also have a little closer to me the simon frazer house and windmill point.

I was thinking of taking the kids to windmill point next week

perhaps
maybe

In our small town we have historic Gordon Hall, which if you don't live here, you've never heard of! lol

But we are only a short drive away from some pretty cool places like Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum. We did the museum last summer, and we'll do the village next month.

Also, this part of the state has a lot of historic bridges. That's a hot topic right now because the state and county road commissions don't have any money to repair these old bridges (don't ask me what they're doing with our gas tax $$!) so they have been closing them. People are really angry about it, too!
