Hi Everyone! I've been more mia than I would like for a few reasons. Having Alexandra here and being a first time mom is, of course, one reason...but also...my in-laws from Australia are here! They are being pretty helpful-cooking/cleaning, etc...but they are staying for 6 weeks-which seems like a VERY long time to have people in our space-especially while I get acclimated to being a new mom. So we'll have to see how it goes I guess.
Alex is doing great...she's just a little love bug, always wanting to be held. The last two nights have been easier. She still wakes up 3 or so times, but it is getting easier to put her back to sleep. I hope these two nights are not just flukes! I feel like I'm getting adjusted as well. The first few days home were somewhat stressful and I felt a little emotional, but I feel like I'm getting back to my old self. Now I can't imagine life without her, and don't even like to leave her to go out on errands all that often.
Anyway, I'm not posting much...but I am keeping myself updated on everyone's progress!

she's Adorable!! COngrats again.
It must be hard adjusting while people are in the house, i was lucky enuff when my son was born it was just me hubby and our new baby and hubby took such great care of us he said he's looking forward to doing it agian.
It's great tho that you get to see family i'm sure you dont get to see too often tho so that's a blessing
I hope she keeps up that sleep scedule you lucky mama

She's beautiful! It must be crazy to have people there for 6 weeks. My family will be coming down for the birth, but they'll only be here for 2 or so weeks. That'll be more than enough for me!

I would go crazy if I had relatives in my house for 6 weeks. I can't believe she is already 2 weeks old. She is super precious.

She is super cute. I understand about getting use to being a mommy. We are in that exact same situation. It is really hard getting adjusted, but I can't imagine not having my little guy around. The nights are rough for sure.
