To start fertility charting this is what you have to know. The rest you can figure out as you go along. You will learn a lot just by doing it.
Things you need:
~~A basal body temperature thermometer.
You can not use a regular fever thermometer to chart with. You can find a bbt thermometer at most drug stores but if you have problems finding them you can order one online at amazon.com or early-pregnancy-tests.com. There are probably other places as well.
~~A place to record your temperatures and observations. You can write them on paper. Here is JM’s
free printable fertility chart you can use. Or you can use an online chart so you can share your chart with others.
Here are a few places that you can chart for free. If you know of others please let me know and I will add them to the list.
FertilityFriend.com
Ovusoft.com (Taking Charge of Your Fertility’s website)
MyMonthlyCycles.com
CyclePages.com
FertilityCircle.com
FertilityTies.com
MedHelp.com
What to do first:
I am going to start with just a few things for you to know so that this isn’t overwhelming. Start by reading this article on
taking your waking bbt. You will want to record your temperature at the same time every day and BEFORE you get out of bed.
You will also want to record cervical mucous observations. You may want to read this article first:
Cervical Mucous, Cervical Position and Ovulation.
This is all you HAVE to know for now to get started. If you are ready for more info read
