My youngest will be 12 months this week. He nurses about 3-4 times a day...So far, no return of AF; which is typical for me with last two children...with oldest son, it returned after I was completely done BF. With my daughter it was around 13 months. But this will be the first time we've not really taken precautions while BF so I need some insight.
I've had a lot of odd signs lately and I can't seem to find a clear answer online and it's too early to test for pregnancy. If any of this sounds familiar, I would appreciate the advice!
Hopefully this isn't too confusing...
Started a week ago with wet/watery clear discharge where I felt like I AF may have come but didn't...
On and off for about a week that went on. I was completely dry up until this point. Thought it might be ovulation but can ovulation discharge last that long?? I would have had sex with my husband (unprotected) about 5 days before symptoms started and then again towards the end of them a week later...
Now, a week or so after, I've had very light spotting. Like a streak of pink when I wiped for two days, about once a day.
So, thoughts on what's going on? AF gearing up to return? Possibly pregnant? I've read a lot stating that it's infrequent for a woman to ovulate prior to first period returning so I don't know what to think. And when it says "return of fertility" does that mean I can get pregnant during the return or just after?
PS-is it unhealthy to conceive again before the return of AF? It's been a year but I don't want to worry about miscarriage, preterm issues, etc... not sure if these are concerns or not but otherwise we'd be thrilled! Been there examples are most welcome!
