TFS Lily! We almost always buy the Walmart brand of foods....they're just as good, if not better than name brands, and a lot cheaper. There are some things that we stick to the name brand, but most everything we get is store brand. We had a big argument with Conner the other night in the grocery store because he didnt' want any cereal in "the white box", aka, walmart brand. LOL. He wanted the ones with the pictures on them I sounded just like my mom telling him it was the same thing....scary! LOL

Jennifer, What things do you stick to name brand?? A few of mine are Ketchup, Poptarts, and Mayo. Theres Def. a difference in them I think.

Ketchup and Mayo are 2 for us. I don't care about ketchup, but DH does. Pudding has to be Jell-o and pickles have to be Mt. Olive

i dont drink soda much anymore but if i do it HAS to be name brand...like coke, pepsi, etc...no dr.k or whatever LOL *gag*

i buy 99% of store brand goods. i taste the difference in alot, but its not a bad difference. i do buy name mayo, baked beans, coke and laundry detergent. the other name brand things i buy are because there is no store brand equivallent eg relish, bbq sauce. I used to shop in a different supermarket that had very poor quality name brand goods, but i switched to tesco and i'm saving €60 a week on groceries!
